Introducing the Sunday Chill

Even in the face of a pandemic and the cancellation of every concert, South Carolina’s musicians have managed not only to stay productive, but also to release some great music and creative content that will hold its value long after we’re able to get things moving again.

If you’ve spent any amount of time on Extra Chill, or in the South Carolina music scene in general, you know that this abundance of great music and creative content is not a new thing. It’s been going on for several years now, on a steady, consistent basis, with more and more established artists doing different kinds of awesome shit, more and more often.

So that’s what got the wheels turning, and ultimately what inspired our Instagram story yesterday asking if y’all would be interested in a South Carolina Music Newsletter.

The response was an overwhelming yes, so we’re going to do it.

Our new monthly newsletter is called The Sunday Chill, and it will be sent out on the last Sunday of every month.

The Sunday Chill will feature a roundup of noteworthy South Carolina music and news from the past month, as well as a look forward at the coming month. Each newsletter will also feature exclusive content and goodies just for our subscribers.
