Fleur Geurl – “ode to spring”

Fleur Geurl is back again with another quarantine-inspired track called “ode to spring”. Danielle is being very modest about this one by saying in the Bandcamp description that this isn’t her favorite song but she decided to release it anyway. My only real issue with this song is that the mix is pretty muddy, but that also works fairly well for Fleur Geurl, especially during these times of confinement when everyone is forced to be a bedroom artist. Danielle’s songwriting is sweet and relatable here, and the lyrics embody that feeling of trying to find a sense of peace during this weird time.
