With the recent passing of Fiasco frontman Scott Frank, the Charleston music and comedy communities have come together to remember the life of a dear friend. This coming Thursday, Scott’s friends and surviving bandmates in Fiasco will release an EP called I’ll Be With You, which they had originally planned for release in the Spring. The EP was finalized not long before Scott’s passing, and the band has decided to release it this coming Thursday, March 5th in celebration of his life.
That night, the surviving members of Fiasco past and present will perform alongside The Royal Tinfoil, Big Awesome, and Drunk Couples, in a $5 tribute show for Scott. All the money from the show will go directly to Scott’s family to help cover the funeral expenses. The Facebook event for that is here.
One of the songs on the three-track EP is “Loose-Lipped”, a song that Fiasco had released as a demo on Bandcamp early last year. They had re-worked the track for the new EP, and wanted to share it a few days early. Listen below.
