Tonight: Jammin’ for John Fundraiser at Jackson Street Cottages

Charleston’s newest event venue, Jackson Street Cottages will host “Jammin’ for John”, a benefit for John Clark and his battle with cancer tonight, Wednesday February 5th from 6pm to 9pm. Members of The Real Good News including Danny May, Layton Meacham, Chris Williams and RoboTrio Drummer, Jonathan Peace will play alongside many more for a dear friend’s aid.

The Jackson Street Cottages is Charleston’s newest event space. Located on the Upper Peninsula in the Eastside neighborhood, these 1890’s “Freedman’s Cottages” are preserved and tastefully restored Charleston homes that provide private indoor spaces and an outdoor gathering space for a variety of events. Check them out on Instagram @jackson_street_cottages.

As far as music and food goes, there will be plenty to try during the 5pm to 9pm event. Rebel Taqueria will provide the grub, and JSC has Craft Beer, Premium Wine, and Cocktails throughout the evening. The Real Good News (And Friends) will be playing your favorite tunes throughout the night while putting on the revivifying soul and creative improvisation they always bring with them.
