Big Yen – “Backflip”

The Charleston project led by Ohm Radio 96.3 program director James Frolio, called Big Yen, has just dropped its debut single, “Backflip”. The track was produced by John Shields of Little Stranger, and fuses reggae and hip-hop in a way that is appropriately similar to how Little Stranger does it.

“Backflip” comes from Big Yen’s upcoming self-titled EP, which will see release next Friday, February 14th. Big Yen will celebrate the EP release with a performance at Elliotborough Mini Bar that will include both love songs and anti-love songs. Tickets to that are $10 and available here.
