Wild Squash – “2 Stoned 4 Xmas”

If you’ve been around the scene for a while, you might remember a Charleston garage rock band that we often praised called The Dumbest Kids in School. They ended their run a while back for several reasons, one of them being guitarist/vocalist Conner Fersner’s move to Nashville. In Nashville, though, Conner started a new band called Wild Squash that certainly scratches a similar itch.

What better way to introduce yourselves to Wild Squash than their recently-released Christmas carol, “2 Stoned 4 Xmas”. The title says it all: “2 Stoned 4 Xmas” is a song about getting stoned on Christmas.

This track was a split release with Nashville band Shoe, who released a song called “2 Drunk 4 Xmas”, which is about (you guessed it) getting drunk on Christmas.

I know nobody can relate to the idea of getting drunk or high around your family on Christmas, but you might as well listen anyway. Stream “2 Stoned 4 Xmas” by Wild Squash and “2 Drunk 4 Xmas” by Shoe below.
