Mel Washington – “Folly Beach Blues”

This morning, Charleston country/folk artist Mel Washington dropped a new single called “Folly Beach Blues”, inspired by none other than Folly Beach. The release follows the release earlier this month of a music video for “First Time Again”. “Folly Beach Blues” features vocals from Texas-based country artist Amber Carrington, who was a runner-up in the 2013 installment of The Voice.

Mel Washington is currently working on a new record called Feast or Famine. The album will be Mel’s first LP release in over 5 years, and he says that the album is a testament to the journey that his life has taken over the years; from homelessness, pain, pleasure, sorrow, and joy.
