Comedian Evan Berke Returns to Charleston to Perform at Charleston Comedy Festival

College of Charleston graduate and rising comedian Evan Berke is set to return to the Holy City for the first time in 3 years for a performance at the Charleston Comedy Festival. Evan will perform on Saturday, January 18th at the Woolfe Street Playhouse, with Mario Tory opening and Charleston comedian Deshawn Mason as host.

The Charleston Comedy Festival enters its 17th year in 2020, taking place January 15-18th at venues spread about the city. This year’s headliners are Beth Stelling and Pete Dominick. For more details on the Charleston Comedy Festival, check out their website here.

Berke began his comedy career as a freshman at the College of Charleston, performing open mics at places like Upper Deck, and later at venues like Theatre 99, Charleston Music Hall, and Woolfe Street Playhouse. He moved to NYC in 2013 and continued to advance his career performing in the circuit there. Berke was also an On-Air Reporter for TMZ, and a host/co-producer for PechaKucha x Brooklyn.
