Secret Guest – “Classic Banter”

If you only listen to one song today, have it be “Classic Banter” by Secret Guest. This is perhaps the best song I’ve ever heard. “Classic Banter” is the kind of shit that makes Radiohead look like Nickelback. Thom Yorke is probably going to retire once he hears this. Secret Guest has made THE indie rock anthem of our generation.

“Classic Banter” was recorded live at The Royal American in June of 2018, which is the last time Secret Guest has played a show. They’ve been sitting on the recordings from that night for more than a year now, and after hearing this it’s easy to understand why. Secret Guest is holding on to solid rock and roll gold.

It took a lot of convincing, but we’ve managed to book Secret Guest for a one night only reunion at Extra Chill Fest 2019. I’m going to be in debt for the rest of my life, but it’s so worth it. I have word that they will perform “Classic Banter” in full, exactly how it’s recorded here, on Friday, November 8th at The Royal American. Come out and witness a performance that will go down in history.
