The Freak Show is Coming to The Purple Buffalo

On Friday, October 18th, The Purple Buffalo will host an event for all the kinky freaks out there. Burnlessflame Productions, the production company of local creative Kit Monroe has put together an event called The Freak Show, which will be hosted by local drag queen Venus Alexander, and will feature all sorts of attractions including live music, vendors selling “art of the playful variety”, and all sorts of freaky sideshows including pole dancing, shibari, wax and body painting, and more.

Musical performances that night will include Happy Sandman, DJ Dollamenu, 9neintu, Drévonn, Hippy Cocaine, Scene Jesus, Catholics, and DJ Dblcrwn. Freakshow non-musical performances will include, John Bush aka Somoknotco, Lex Biscuit, Leslie Caneda, The Pole Ninja, Encaustic Sensual Wax, Nava Magik, Bria Leo, Moro the Paint Fairy, and Amara the Flitter Fairy.

The Freakshow is 21+, and while the promoters do encourage sexy and fetish attire, no nudity is allowed at the event. Advance tickets are $10 and available here, or you can snag them for $15 at the door.
