Extra Chill Fest Day 1 Artist: Jah Jr.

If you’re wondering who’s going to give the most hype performance at Extra Chill Fest 2019, the answer is probably Jah Jr. That’s a challenge to all of the other Extra Chill Fest artists who are reading this. Jah Jr. will bring the hype to Day 1 of Extra Chill Fest at The Royal American, on Friday, November 9th. We hope you’re ready.

Over the past 5 or so years since moving from his hometown of Dublin, GA to Charleston, Jah Jr. has become known for his energy in the live setting, and as you learned in our interview earlier this month, Jah will be the first to tell you that his performances kick ass.

We caught wind of Jah Jr. last year, with the release of the full-length album Back 2 Da Dub, which was themed and centered around his hometown of Dublin. Since then, he’s been crushing it around town, including a stellar performance at the landmark event Cultura Festival back in April.

Jah Jr. recently released another Dublin-themed album, this time an EP called Still Dub, which chronicles what’s he’s been up to since the release of Back 2 Da Dub. The new EP shows growth while still keeping tuned in to the same vibe that his fans have come to love from him.
