Cry Baby – “Might As Well”

Cry Baby has doubled down on the 90s pop aesthetic once again. Their new single “Might As Well” straight up sounds like a cross between between *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” and Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time”. Cry Baby has found a special niche, as absurd as it may be, and it’s working. You could put “Might As Well” in a Spotify playlist of 90s pop hits and nobody would ever guess that it was released in 2019.
