Pip the Pansy – “Indigo Fantasy” (ft. Little Stranger)

Atlanta pop artist Pip the Pansy has impressed the hell out of Charleston over the past year or so, playing a few shows around town with locals like 2 Slices and Little Stranger at venues like the Royal American and the Pour House. Once you see her dance around the stage or hop up on the bar for a flute solo, it’s impossible to forget it. Most recently, Pip the Pansy opened for Little Stranger at their sold out extravaganza a couple weeks back at the Pour House (their first time selling out the venue as a headlining artist), and by all accounts she delivered a fantastic set that evening to get the party started.

Last week, Pip the Pansy released a new EP called Love Legends, Pt 1. The EP is five tracks and worth a listen all the way through, but for this article I want to highlight the third track, “Indigo Fantasy”, which features a verse from none other than Kevin Shields of Little Stranger. The two artists have toured together extensively, and will continue that trend this Friday, July 26th at Aisle 5 in Atlanta.
