Walter Brown’s “Cry Baby” video is the first thing that I’ve written about on Extra Chill where I feel the need to warn people about how dark it is. I don’t want to spoil it for you, so I won’t give too much detail as to what it’s about. You’ll just have to watch for yourself.
“Cry Baby” comes from Walter’s 2018 album IMOW, which we ranked at #4 on our best SC albums of 2018 list. That album was made with Matt Tuton at his former home studio on James Island. Walter and Matt have been in the studio again lately, except this time they’re at Matt’s new John’s Island studio called The Lab. That means we’ll hopefully hear some new music from Walter Brown soon.
The music video for “Cry Baby” was co-directed by Gia Giovanni of Window View Music Group and Walter himself. It was shot by Charleston-based videographer Stanley Green, who works with artists from all over the Southeast.
