Tom Angst – “Midnight” (Video)

This morning, Tom Angst surprised us with the drop of the music video for an unreleased song called “Midnight”. This is the first new music to see release from the band since their signing with Real South Records in October, though they have been throwing new songs into their sets for at least a year now. They mentioned on Instagram that they are going into the studio Friday to record the last song on a new EP, so we’ll probably be hearing more new music soon.

Tom Angst’s Instagram bio also states very explicitly that they are no longer booking shows. We can only hope that it’s just a temporary thing, because the world of music, and especially the world of South Carolina music, needs Tom Angst to continue booking shows.

We’ll have to wait for some official news from the band before jumping to conclusions, but at least we can now enjoy the studio version of “Midnight”, and the video that goes along with it.
