Terraphonics to Play at Royal American with Niecy Blues and DJ Sista Misses

On Friday, March 15th, Terraphonics will take the stage at The Royal American for the first time in a while. They’re still pretty fresh off the release of their newest single, “Move”, and I’m sure they’ve got a few more new ones that will make an appearance that night. Joining Terraphonics will be Niecy Blues, who just played a rad bill opening up for Speedy Ortiz and Ohmme at Columbia’s New Brookland Tavern this past weekend. As we know, Niecy Blues is backed by ET Anderson, whose frontman and guitarist Wilson W. Wilson is curently out west with She Returns From War, in support of none other than Band of Horses. After Terraphonics and Niecy Blues play, DJ Sista Misses will close things down with a dance party.

If you haven’t witnessed a Terraphonics set yet, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. They are one of the most talented groups of musicians in town, and adding Niecy to the mix makes this a can’t-miss. I wouldn’t be surprised if Niecy were to sit in with Terraphonics for a song or two, especially because Shaniqua McCants will be there too, and they all played together at Benjamin Starr’s live recording of A Water Album at the Music Hall back in September.

The Royal American is the place to be on Friday, March 15th. $10 at the door.
