Chris Wilcox – “Drive” (Coast Records Sessions)

This morning we’re excited to share our Coast Records Sessions debut, featuring Chris Wilcox playing his 2017 single “Drive” live in the studio. Behind Chris is a full band that includes Peter Clark on guitar, Aaron Utterback on bass, Paul Chelmis on keys, and Matt Zutell on drums. Zutell also handled the mix, and Dries Vandenberg of Practical Effect handled all the video work.

The video was shot between recording sessions for the upcoming Chris Wilcox album, Chris Wilcox & the Boys. The album’s first single, “GoldFriend”, will be released on March 13th. No official release date on the album yet, but Chris & the Boys will be playing an album release show at The Royal American on Saturday, May 4th. They’ll be joined by Darby Wilcox & the Peep Show and one more artist that will be announced later.
