Daddy’s Beemer dropped us a New Years Eve gift last night with the surprise release of the music video for “Time We Killed” off their 2018 EP Pucker (which was one of our year-end favorites). The video was made by Daddy’s Beemer bassist Wesley Heaton using royalty free footage from what appears to be the 1940s. 2018 was a big year for Daddy’s Beemer, who made the move from Clemson to Charlotte to reach a larger audience. As far as I’m concerned, Daddy’s Beemer is still a South Carolina band.
With the release of the “Time We Killed” music video, Daddy’s Beemer also mentioned that they’ll be releasing new music in 2019, which is something we can all look forward to. Hey Daddy’s Beemer, if you’re wondering whether or not you should move to Charleston with your next release, the answer is yes. Consider that a formal invitation from all of us here at Extra Chill.
