Cry Baby – “Boyfriend” (Video)

This morning, Charleston’s newest funk rock band Cry Baby (formerly Butterfly) premiered their new single and music video with 9 to 5 Magazine. “Boyfriend” is the second song to come from Cry Baby. The track was self-recorded by the band, and the video was filmed on VHS by Brett Tighe and Meghan O’Connell.

Cry Baby is set to play several shows in Charleston over the next month, starting tomorrow night at Beware of Dog Production’s Spooky Sounds Halloween House show (address in the Facebook event here). Also playing are Clayton James, Semkari, and RGN. After that, Cry Baby will hop aboard the Carolina Queen on Saturday, November 10th for the 6th annual 1770 Records Boat Show with Abstract, Orange Doors, Easy Honey, and Eighty Seven Nights. Finally, they’ll make their Royal American debut on November 29th to celebrate the release of a new single from Midnight Endeavor.
