Extra Chill Fest 2018 (Photos)

On Saturday, September 8th, we hosted the first installment of Extra Chill Fest. The festival took place at The Purple Buffalo in North Charleston, and featured a diverse lineup of 12 different South Carolina acts, ranging from indie rock to hip-hop, and made use of the Buffalo’s outdoor space with a huge stage in the back lot. The event was a massive success, and a huge milestone for Extra Chill going forward. For those of you wondering if we will be hosting a second Extra Chill Fest next year, the answer is an astounding yes.

Before I go any further, I want to take a minute to thank every single one of you who came out to Extra Chill Fest. We wouldn’t have been able to accomplish what we did without everyone who bought tickets and showed up to enjoy the festivities. Thank you to all the bands for rocking the house, to Pabst Blue Ribbon and Awendaw Green for sharing our passion for South Carolina music, to Real South Records for being amazing partners, and to the Carolina Youth Action project for everything you do to promote equality and acceptance in the South Carolina music scene.
