Tom Angst to Open for Waxahatchee and Ought at The Royal American

You might have heard of Tom Angst, the indie rock band from Greenville who released a little self-titled EP not too long ago. They’re part of the Pablo Generation, and got their start playing house shows in the upstate. The EP was extremely well-received in the South Carolina scene, and I for one have had it in rotation for months.

A few months back, Murias Entertainment scheduled touring acts Waxahatchee and Ought to play at the Royal American this Saturday, November 18th. That was big news in itself, because those are two awesome out of town bands. Well, it was recently announced that Tom Angst has been added to the roster for this Saturday’s show. That makes Saturday’s show even more awesome.

If you were already planning to attend, get there early so you can catch some of South Carolina’s best rising talent on The Royal American stage for the first time. Doors open at 8pm, music starts at 9pm. Tickets are $15 in advance, $17 day of show. Get yours here.

In case you’re out of the loop, I’ve included some live stuff from all three bands below.
