The Pigeons are Coming, The Pigeons are Coming

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will be coming to The Charleston Pour House tomorrow (June 1st) to open up their summer tour. Get tickets here before they move up to DOS pricing.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong (PPPP) is a four piece band from Baltimore that is growing as fast as they can fly. PPPP brings end-of-the-world enthusiasm to their high-energy psychedelic funk. Their infectious electro-funk grooves, undeniable live energy and contagious smiles have their rabid fanbase “the Flock” growing exponentially. Based out of Baltimore, MD, this animated quartet has been scorching up the country with their explosive performances and danceable peaks, and they’re loving every minute of it.

The band is made up of members Greg Ormont (Vocals, Guitar), Jeremy Schon (Guitar, Vocals), Ben Carrey (Bass, Vocals), and Alex Petropulos (Drumagic, Electro-Swag). The last time PPPP came to the Pour House they packed out the inside prior to the Dopapod show. Charleston is stoked to welcome back PPPP.

Following the Pour House they will migrate to Candler Park Music Festival outside of Atlanta. They will share the stage with acts that occasionally frequent Charleston such as Lake Street Dive, Railroad Earth, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.
