Sondor Blue – Extra! Extra! (What’s Going On?) (Music Video)
Sondor Blue is an up-and-coming indie rock trio from Charleston, South Carolina. I’ve had the chance to see them play twice now, and they were good the first time, but the second time they were even better. Improvement is always a good sign for a new band, and I think these guys really have a lot of potential. Not to mention the three of them (Andrew Halley, Connor Hollifield, and John Sheehan) work together to write their own songs. In addition to writing their own songs, they also play a wide variety of covers by The Beatles, Sublime, and even a cool cover of “No Diggity” by Blackstreet.
What we have here is a new music video for Sondor Blue’s newest song, “Extra! Extra! (What’s Going On?)”, filmed at a few different spots around the city of Charleston, including Marion Square and Kudu. The song and video combined does an awesome job of showcasing the vocal harmonies that they create, which is what I think to be their main strength as a band. All three of them sing, and they all have great voices and know how to work off each other in a way that sounds dope.
If you enjoy this video, don’t forget to shoot them a like on Facebook so you can stay up to date on happenings from the band. They’re just getting started, and I think we’ll see some more great stuff in the coming months.
