Aside from Jeff Tweedy’s minor mishap at the beginning, this is a really cool performance of “Misunderstood”, from November 1996 in their home city of Chicago. This song just has such an eerie, nostalgic vibe, like much of Wilco’s music, and it’s one of the main reasons why I love them so much. I’m looking forward to the day that they’re inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. You may not agree with me, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to happen. They have had a profound influence on a lot of their fans, and it’s a shame that we don’t hear more of their songs on the radio. Oh, Wilco, you’re so misunderstood.
