Queen – Live Aid 1985 (Full Concert)

Queen – Live Aid 1985 (Full Concert)

Live Aid was a benefit concert that took place in July of 1985, with proceeds going toward efforts to end Ethiopian famine. Apparently the concert took place both at Wembley Stadium in London and John. F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, with live television broadcasts reaching over 1.5 Billion people. Queen, of course, played an incredible set at Wembley, and Freddie Mercury is looking flamboyant as ever. You can really tell how much Freddy loved to perform in front of people here, performing live in front of 72,000 people and taking complete control of the crowd. My only qualm is that this was only a 25-minute set. Other than that, this is totally legendary. Rest easy, Mr. Mercury. Enjoy.
