Neil Young – Tonight’s The Night (Full Album)

Tonight’s The Night is a Neil Young album that I had never heard of until he mentioned it in Waging Heavy Peace, which I’m about halfway through at this point. He talks about how he wrote the album about two of his friends, Danny Whitten and Bruce Berry, who overdosed on heroin. Apparently the whole thing was recorded drunk on tequila from midnight to 3am, and his record company at the time absolutely hated it. You just love to see that. This album kicks ass, and if you’ve never heard it before, you need to listen to it right now. That is all.
