Here’s a full Modest Mouse performance from Coachella 2013. They sound pretty good, but honestly this isn’t their best performance. It seems Mr. Issac Brock was in the middle of a bender during this one, and he is clearly intoxicated on the stage. While I still like this performance, I feel that he wasted a bit too much time rambling on about nonsense. I do think his voice sounds good, but really if you know you’re pressed for time in a festival setlist, I’d expect that he would waste less time.

Don’t get me wrong, Modest Mouse is still awesome and this is definitely worth watching. The selection of songs is incredible, and they even had to “cherry pick” a few, in the words of Issac Brock. Makes me wonder if maybe “Edit The Sad Parts” was one of the songs they cut. We’ll never know, but at least we have this full performance to enjoy. It’s all a game! Tracklist below.
