Human Resources – “The Witch” (Live For No One)

Here’s the newest offering from arguably the best band in the Charleston music scene: “The Witch” by Human Resources. Ever since I first heard them play this song I’ve been waiting to hear a more official version, and it’s finally here.

This video was filmed at the empty Music Farm, and the production gives it a really eerie vibe that goes perfectly with the song itself. This song reminds me a lot of “You Stole” by Brand New, which of course is a huge plus for me. I love the breakdown in the middle, as we get to see Human Resources playing much more intensely than usual, and I’d definitely like to see them release some more songs in this vein.
